Early Pre-School Room
Welcome to our vibrant Early Pre-School Room at The Willows, tailored for children aged 2-3 years. This spacious room on the ground floor offers ample space for exploration and is designed to facilitate a variety of engaging activities for your little ones.
Conveniently located on the ground floor, the room provides easy access to an Outdoor Play Area, allowing children the opportunity to venture outdoors at least twice a day, regardless of the weather. The Outdoor Area is thoughtfully equipped with free-standing resources, easily maneuvered to create obstacle courses or arranged for group games. Ensuring privacy, this area is securely fenced.
Inside the Early Pre-School Room, a dedicated Creative Area awaits exploration, offering activities such as painting and tactile trays. A cosy Book Area provides a space for independent relaxation or shared story time with their Key Person or peers. The room also features a Music Area and low shelving throughout, allowing children easy access to their own resources.
We’ve taken practical measures to promote independence, including low toilets and sinks. Coat hooks are strategically placed at child-friendly heights, enabling them to retrieve their own coats for outdoor play. Children are encouraged to serve their own food and drinks, fostering a sense of autonomy and responsibility.
