The Willows Day Nursery

At The Willows, the welfare and well-being of the children in our care is of paramount importance.

We ensure that your child's needs are met. Each child is appointed a dedicated 'Key Person', who plans activities for their individual development requirements.

Caring environment

We have four different care rooms, each of which have a team of highly qualified child care practitioners.

We are very proud that many of our staff have been with us for many years, some from when The Willows first opened.

Our Vision

Our aim is to provide a warm and friendly environment, in which each child can thrive and develop, through a combination of play, structured learning, and creative activity, guided by caring and committed staff, working in close collaboration with parents.

Our activities are based upon the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which is designed to nurture confident and enquiring young minds and create socially integrated young people.

We offer funded places

In line with government policy we offer 15 free hours per week for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds, and 30 hours per week (for only £8 per day) for eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

Much of the financial burden is alleviated for you, allowing you to be sure your little ones are in safe hands.

The Millie's Mark Logo. Achieving this Quality Mark means we have reflected on our practice, and work above our minimum requirements to keep children safe and minimise risk's and accidents, and that we ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained. It has been awarded by NDNA in association with Department of Education and Millie's Trust.
